Book Summary Review: My Not So Perfect Life

Katie Brenner is twenty-six years old and has the perfect life: a London apartment, a glamorous job and a fantastic Instagram profile. But reality is not as wonderful as it seems: she lives for rent in a tiny room where there is not even space for a closet and every day she undertakes an endless journey by public transport to reach her administrative position at the communication company where she works. . What she shares on Instagram is not the real life of her, but she has hope that one day her dreams come true. Her (not quite) perfect life falls apart when her boss Demeter, who does seem to have everything one could want, fires her. Katie loses hope and is forced to return to her home in the Somerset countryside, where she will help her father run the new rural tourism business.
